Dr. Marco V. Colella
A passion for perfection all while putting you at ease with a compassionate, personable bedside manner.
Dr. Marco Colella attended Benedictine University where he studied health sciences/pre-dental. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2013.
Since graduating dental school Dr. Colella has worked in a private practice setting and has focused his talents into family dentistry, dental implantology, extractions, and cosmetic dentistry. He is very passionate about pursuing excellence in clinical dentistry as well as creating a friendly, comfortable atmosphere for his patients.
Dr. Colella has had the pleasure of participating with the “A Reason to Smile” program. This is a program that collaborates with Clearbrook to provide dental care to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. He also has volunteered with “Dentist’s With A Heart”, which is an opportunity where dentists provide dentistry to those in need.
Dr. Colella is a member of various dental organizations. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Fox River Valley Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
He is committed to continuing education and consistently completes over double the required amount of continuing education hours required. He greatly enjoys learning and thinks it is crucial to stay abreast of the latest advances in dentistry. He has completed numerous continuing education courses on tooth extractions, bone grafting, and dental implants.
Dr Colella lives in Wheaton with his wife (and fellow dentist), Dr. Britly, his son Luca, and his daughter Jacqueline. In his leisure time he enjoys taking his family to the zoo, library, and anywhere the kids wants to explore. He enjoys trying different restaurants and outdoor activities.
Dr. John C. Koechley
Dr. Koechley received his undergraduate degree in zoology from The Ohio State University in 1976 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University in 1979.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Koechley continued his education while serving in the United States Navy. During this period he received advanced training in endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery and operative dentistry.
In 1982, Dr. Koechley began in private practice as an associate in Oak Brook Terrance, Illinois.
Six years later, Dr. Koechley opened his own office in Batavia, with emphasis on Restorative, Implant and Esthetic Dentistry.
In 2001, Dr. Koechley renovated a beautiful home of historical importance to Batavia. It is where one of the original owners of the quarry raised his family. Dr. Koechley moved and expanded his dental practice to this building, outfitting it with the latest technology so his patients would experience dental care in a pleasing, relaxed environment.
Dr. Koechley stays current in his dental education through his continuing education and affiliations with professional organizations. He has trained in prosthetic procedures of the Brannemark Nobel Biocare Implant system from Northwestern University . Dr. Koechley has received clinical training esthetics and occlusion from The Hornbrook Group and continues his ongoing training with the Chicago Aesthetic Masters, a Hornbrook Group Society Club. He is a member of the American Dental Association , The Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry . He and his staff yearly attend the Mid-Winter Meeting of the Chicago Dental Society where they continue their education, in addition to specific studies throughout the year.
Dentistry has been a passion of Dr. Koechley’s, he is rewarded by the patients that walk out of his office with a new smile and so often, a new outlook on life!
Dr. Koechley lives in Geneva with his lovely wife, Kim and son Johnathon. Dr. Koechley enjoys spending time with his family, friends, playing golf and woodworking.
